The Zoology Laboratory was funded by the African Development Bank, and its mission is to assist in the pedagogical training of undergraduate and postgraduate students in the research, identification and mapping of microorganisms (fungi, bacteria and viruses) and parasites (external and internal) that threaten public health, as well as their subsequent typification. It is expected to function by mid 2022.
